Bio
Bradley Fish – a freelance musician just spent 6 years producing and teaching music in Israel, followed by 6 months of his new live laptop looping-based music international, blending his mastery of many real instruments with DJ-like effects, while touring around the USA in a large purple van. Fish seems to care very little that by doing so he may be confusing his old hippie rock and hard rock era fans used to his raw, earthy stylings. Frankly, we’re not sure what’s gotten into him, but we do know this:
Fish recently finished his 3rd CD of loops for SONY and co-wrote and played Chinese Zither on a track for multi-million record selling Dan Reed. Fish appears on new Bigga Haitian reggae tracks with ‘Yvad’ – Bob Marley’s successor in the Wailers, and Jerry Johnson – the sax player behind Steel Pulse, Queen Latifah, and Burning Spear’s 2009 Grammy winning ‘Jah Is Real’ CD. The nearly 1 million internet hits on Fish’s immodest “Jewish Girl Blues” video angered religious leaders in Jerusalem, who smashed Fish’s rare collection of priceless electric guitars, but Fish still managed to play acoustic guitar on recordings with several secular Israeli platinum selling artists.
The Past:
Bradley holds a B.A. degree in jazz guitar from Northern Illinois University, where he studied with master guitar virtuoso Fareed Haque, who completely kicked Bradley’s butt. During this ivory tower period, Fish gained exposure to a plethora of instructors and styles of music from around the world and across time, grew his hair incredibly long, and wrote several songs on topics that he probably shouldn’t have touched.
After debuting to an audience of countless thousands as a street musician, Bradley toured colleges and played clubs, festival, theatre, coffeehouse gigs – eventually performing original solo dulcimer music with the Call for Peace Drum and Dance Company in Germany and at the Closing ceremony of The Parliment of the World’s Religions in Grant Park, Chicago for 70,000+ people, following a speech by the Dalai Lama.

During this somewhat blurry period, Sugarcubes/Bjork drummer Siggi Baldursson produced and played on Bradley’s debut CD, ‘The Aquarium Conspiracy’ and Bradley shared the stage with many other nationally and internationally known acts, some of whom who have completely burned out or just plain vanished since since their heyday in the 60’s: Hot Tuna (Members of Jefferson Airplane), Big Brother and The Holding Co. (Janis Joplin’s backing band), Merl Saunders Rainforest Band (Jerry Garica/Grateful Dead collaborator) Richie Havens (Woodstock legend) and the amazing Clyde Stubblefield (James Brown’s ‘Funky Drummer’).
After surviving several hard rock bands wrought with dangerous personalities, producing albums for several insane young artists, and teaching over 8 zillion guitar lessons, Fish went out for a bike ride in Madison, got lost, and found himself in the Middle East with his dreads cut off and a Lady Gaga tattoo on his rear end. Soon after, he was seen in a live FOX news TV show jamming with multi-platinum selling singer Pat Boone, conservative Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee and missile-dodger/anchorman Mike Tobin, which pretty much perplexed Fish’s old hippie fans and diminished his future chances of another tour in Europe.
Through all the mayhem, somehow, Bradley Fish has managed to hang on to endorsement deals with the following great and lovely companies, whom he thanks profusely for all the cool, free stuff: Rocktron, GHS Strings, Martin Guitars, Pintech Drums, Echo Audio, Minarik Guitars, Brown Paper Tickets, OggiOggi, Sockwa, Presonus Audio, Ableton, and Bome’s.
