Was soooo fun! Every show I’m developing my thing, refining, and getting comfortable with the new set up…Every day is some kind of improvement…learning through trial by fire…I just LOVE playing out. Wow. Its really awakened something in me thats been laying dormant for a long time…
Setting up for the CD release gig, I pulled my dulcimer out of my new soft rifle case that I got for it (looks like a dulcimer gig bag) and the dulcimer hit the floor and my capo smashed to pieces. Its such an exotic piece of gear, no one had one. So I re-tuned the dulcimer (E – B – D – D for all you dulcimer geeks out there!!) and it all flowed fine…whew!
I spoke to Ron Ewing that day, who had built the best dulcimer capo I had found, as well as a completely awesome baritone dulcimer that I just love. Turns out that if you type “Baritone Dulcimer” into google my video is front and center. (Chinese Zither, too, btw! Kinda funny, actually…) Apparently Ron had sold a number of dulcimers off that video and was nice enough to send out a few replacement capos. Did I mention I *highly* recommend his stuff?!!
Here’s that video I did…
I’m in the process of booking out a tour to get to the West Coast. Billy from brownpapertickets.comhas been a huge help…he’s an experienced touring musician who is more on the helping end these days – its been great to get the benefit of his experience and help in putting this together…
You can keep up with me on my calendar, which I keep up to date religiously at:

Also want to thank Denny Rauen for setting up my guitars soooo well – wow…check out this clip from the CD Release show to get an idea of what this baby can do…
I’ve got a week around Madison to get all this together and then hitting the road!
–> Do you have friends across the West (Minnesota, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Nevada, Wyoming, Idaho, Oregon, California) that would like to host a house concert or connect me to a venue (coffeehouse, club, chabad house, etc) ??!?! Please let me know ASAP – as we are booking out and looking to fill dates. Thanks!!!!
Thanks to Renee Gabel for the concert pic!!!
See ya Soon!
Bradley
